Among the main export commodities, rice and coffee are the ones with down growth in value and volume. The volume of rice exports is 541,000 tonnes in May, reaching 235 million USD worth, bringing rice export volume in 5 months of 2.4 million tonnes valuing 1.05 billion USD, down 11.4% in volume and 14.6% in value over the same period of 2014.


In May, coffee exports is estimated to be 101.000 tonnes, valuing 211 million USD, bring the total exports of 5 months to 578.000 tonnes, valuing 1,2 billion USD, down 39,4% in volume and 38% in value when compared to the same period of last year.


Although there is estimated to be increase in volume but decrease in value as for rubber.  There has been no much improvement in tea exports. The forestry product exports in 5 months is forecast to reach 2.69 billion USD, up 7% compared to the same period in 2014. Fishery exports totaled 2.41 billion USD, down 17% from the same period last year.
